23rd APRIL 2008   …   … Prize-giving (Winter Bridge) followed by bridge.

 

WINTER COMPETITIONS

 

A and B competitions running on dates above as in previous years.    Same partners throughout.

 

Individual competitions will run on the alternate weeks as follows:

The second Wednesday in the month will be Individual Scratch Competition for which the Hilda Laughton Cup will be awarded.    Play with any partner.

The fourth Wednesday in the month will be Individual Handicap Competition for which the Ernest Bailey Trophy will be awarded.   Play with any partner.

Fifth Wednesday in the month will be Individual Handicap.   For all competitions the best five results will count.

 

SUMMER COMPETITIONS

 

Begin 30^th April 2008 and run continuously for 20 weeks until 10th September 2008.   Two competitions of 10 weeks each alternately scratch and handicap.   Best five scores count.

Play with any partner.
